Suspect arrested, accused of setting Regions Bank fire

RICHMOND CO., Ga. (WRDW) — A man has been arrested, accused of setting a bank on fire.

Prince William Dennis, 20, of Trinity Circle was arrested Tuesday. He is being charged with Arson in the First Degree.

Dennis was booked into the Charles B. Webster Detention Center.

The Sheriff’s Office says sometime between Friday, February 27th and Monday, March 4th a fire was started inside the bathroom of Regions Bank at 1219 Augusta West Parkway.

The investigation revealed that Regions Bank was not open during the time of the incident.

RICHMOND CO., Ga. (WRDW) — Richmond County deputies and Augusta firefighters have said someone started a fire at a bank over the weekend.

Investigators have said a worker at the Regions Bank on Augusta West Parkway found the damage Monday morning.

The fire department has said deputies questioned a suspect and charged them with arson.
